Cinder Crossword Puzzle

This week I am doing a bit of a throwback (I am starting to feel old because 2012 is a throwback) to doing a crossword puzzle that is based on Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Though the series did recently get new covers which I might have to buy.

They are wildly pretty. I’m into it.

The inspiration for going back to Cinder was that I began to listen to Marissa Meyer’s podcast, The Happy Writer. It is a lovely interview show that is genuinely cheerful and informative. So that reminded me that I do really like this series, especially the later books.

I have been saying for weeks that I really need to do smaller puzzles, so I am finally delivering on that! It isn’t tiny, but it also doesn’t have near (or over) 100 words. When I finish the series, I am unsure if I will stick to slightly smaller puzzles all the way through, but I had a much easier assembly process for this puzzle, so I might try to lean closer to 50 than 100 for the future.

I also switched up the style of the puzzle! I test printed it and I personally think it looks better both on the computer and when printed than the previous formats. Let me know if you have any thoughts!
